Hajimemashita!

Well, I guess I kind of need to introduce myself, so I guess that's what I'll do.  Konchiwa!  I'm Turtle-chan!  I created this blog because of a scholarship that required you to make a blog post, but I was unable to submit my post for that scholarship because of some stupidity involved in their requirements (long story short, they required that you have a ".edu" e-mail address which I, nor really any students I know, do not have).  Anyhow, since I've already created the blog, I figured I might as well use it, so I guess I'll just be posting random stuff from here on out.
So, for my first random post, I guess I'll tell you guys a little about myself.  I am really into manga and anime and my blog name is a reference to the manga/anime series The Wallflower.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, it's kind of a romantic comedy with a reverse harem (I use the term "harem" not in the sex slave sort of meaning; it's just a house full of dudes) and one girl stuck living with them.  The boys are challenged to turn the girl into a lady within three years and they will get free rent.  Sounds easy enough, but you have to consider the girl in question.  Sunako Nakahara (for the purists, Nakahara Sunako).  A dark, disturbing girl who has not seen her own reflection in years and refuses to take care of her body due to a traumatic--for her--incident with a boy calling her ugly.  Her interests include horror movies, detective manga, anatomical models, and "the darkness."  Oh, did I mention that she gets violent nosebleeds whenever she looks at the boys?  Yeah, it makes for some great comedy.  Anyway, the anime has these little segments in each episode with all sorts of little life tips and they call it "THE ROAD TO WOMANHOOD!!!!" (they have a voice shouting it...), so I thought it would be funny to name my blog after that section because I'm like a slightly less extreme Sunako who doesn't get nosebleeds when gazing upon beautiful things.
That's all I've got for now, but I'm sure I'll think of some more randomness later.  Sayonara, reader-sans!
